Abstract Earthquake-induced slope instability is one of the most important hazards related to ground shaking, causing damages environment and, often, casualties. Therefore, it assess seismic performance slopes, especially in near fault regions, evaluating permanent displacements induced by loading. This paper applies a probabilistic approach evaluate slopes using an updated database motions recorded during earthquakes occurred Italy.
